The sheet metal bull by artist Kees Timmer from Rotterdam was part of the Dutch entry for the world exhibition EXPO in Brussels in 1958.
The bull is now the model of energy and refers to the energy with which the social and industrial development of Cuijk has been tackled in the past, Cuijk as a place of energy. This has given it an important symbolic value for Cuijk.
